The Florida Innovation Hub at UF will provide its resident companies with office space, laboratories, conference rooms and other resources to improve their likelihood of success. The Innovation Hub enables its tenants to devote their limited initial resources to the advancement of their technology and market strategies rather than traditional business operations.

• Close to UF
  Close proximity (just a few blocks) to the University of Florida and plenty of free parking enable faculty members and Innovation Hub tenants to quickly travel from one location to the other. This not only saves time, but also encourages opportunities for collaboration between all parties.
• Shared Facilities
  Our fully-staffed, professional and comfortable lobby/reception area provides a relaxed environment conducive to conversation and collaboration. All conferencing facilities are equipped with modern video conferencing capabilities that project a positive image and instill confidence in potential investors, collaborators and employees.
• All-Inclusive Leases
  Rental rates are "all-inclusive", rather than traditional triple-net commercial leases. In addition to fully furnished office spaces with desks, task chairs, storage, filing and guest seating, rental rates all include maintenance, usage of common areas, property tax and utilities. This eases the financial burden and provides one-bill convenience.

  Ability to increase the size of your space as your company grows, without physically moving to another location. The Innovation Square "grow-as-you-go" philosophy is perfectly suited to businesses with modest initial needs, but exceptional potential for expansion.

  Modern laboratories with access to biological safety cabinets, fume hoods, DI water, vacuum, gas, autoclave and other essential equipment. Laboratory inspections are provided by UF's Environmental Health and Safety department to ensure compliance with UF, state and federal regulations.

  Tenants also minimize their cash outlay by sharing office equipment, including a copy machine, printer and fax machine, all accessible via a high-speed network. If desired, phone and data lines can be provided as needed for an economical flat rate with no external contracts required.

  The Innovation Hub houses the UF Office of Technology Licensing and UF Tech Connect, as well as the main commercialization entities at UF, providing exceptional access to a wide variety of resources that are invaluable to startup companies. Also included is a Gator1 card that enables resident companies to utilize the vast wealth of scientific and business information in the UF library system.
• Resident companies also enjoy access to UF's Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research, a world-class research support center that provides scientifically knowledgeable, technically superb scientific services, at discounted UF rates.
• Flexibility of a short-term lease, which minimizes the financial commitment required. By not being "locked in" to a substantial period of time, you are able to take advantage of our abundant facilities for only as long as you need them.
